Consultant and educator on issues of cultural diversity and all forms of discrimination over decades of cultural and political change. Work with people of diverse backgrounds to better understand and communicate with each other. Teach in venues including community organizations, social service agencies, businesses, religious groups, high schools and universities, police departments.
Contributed papers, photographs and memorabilia of social justice work to the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University, where they were accepted as a permanent part of the collection. At my death, they will also receive all of my photography negatives and the rest of my papers and memorabilia.

* Facilitate conflict-resolving sessions that focus on overcoming barriers to clear communication and encouraging the integrity, creativity and empowerment of each individual and the group as a whole.
* Co-teach and facilitate multiracial groups with colleagues of color. Teach or facilitate white groups independently or with white colleagues.
* Recruit, train and supervise culturally diverse paid and volunteer staff. Oversee fundraising and financial administration.

* Created a statewide network of groups and individuals concerned with racism and multicultural issues via meetings, workshops, monthly events, films and newsletters.
* A highlight of the Council's work was creating and producing the first Multi-Cultural Conference/Celebration in Vermont, which offered ethnic foods, workshops, a panel presentation, an art exhibit, a "community meeting", multicultural entertainment and a very full, free childcare program for both days.
